This summer was a lazy one as far as vacationing goes. We pretty much didn't have one. We just walked around beautiful Brooklyn, enjoying the simple pleasure of summer in Prospect Park. Here's a picture of "Muffin" hugging her favorite tree near the Audobon Center.
The beautiful architecture under one of the many bridges in Prospect Park.
A quick stop for a refreshing squirt of water.
We discoverd two of our favorite reptiles....
On our way back, we passed under another bridge with awesome accoustics. The best place to shout something wonderful :)
Never acutally had to use one of these, but they're really cool to look at. Wish I could have this one. Those glowing lights are from cars racing along Flatbush Ave. A word of advice to look both ways three times before crossing, even if the sign says walk.
A stop for a quick snack at the local fruit stand.
Get ready for a super fast bus passing by.......
Hold on to your bags, skirts and hats!
....and the welcoming glow of lights form our building.
Thanks for joining us on our neighborhood walk. Until next time:)
