We were finally able to start on a project and finish it in time for the deadline. This month marks the end of Project 11, revisiting Haiti one year after the devastating earthquake. This time Craft for Hope teamed up with Konbit Sante to send birthing kits to the attendants bringing new lives into the world.
Because Haiti is such a poor country, simple things like clean string and soap are luxuries and are hard to come by. They need our help to make little medical kits to ensure these new lives are brought into this world clean and safe. The deadline to send kits is March 4th, but if you'd still like to make contributions after this date, they will gladly accept more bags.
That's my "muffin" holding the finished pieces. She was very excited about being able to help. She actually did all of the embroidering on her bag and moist of her bear plush!
